Trip home and other stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well sorry it took me so long to get this up! I had it done and the computer deleted it so this is my second time typing this.
Aug 14
Today I woke up at 4:30! I then showered then closed my suit case. We then carried my stuff to the car. After Me and Anna's family drove to the airport, it took us about 20 min or so to get there. Once we got there I first got my ticket and checked in my suitcases. Then I went and got a muffin for breakfast. Then 6:15 came around it was time to say goodbye! I didn't want to go at all. I mean I wanted to see everyone back at home but I didn't want to leave wonderful Germany and all the people I had stayed with. Well after many tears I went through security and got on the plane. When I was on and we started moving I started bawling. Once we left I cried for a good 20 min. After I relaxed a little and looked out the window and enjoyed the flight. We landed at 8:30 and I got off and started figureing out where I needed to go. I decided to ask someone. I asked a very kind lady (in uniform) where I should go she showed me and I went on my way. I first got on a bus which took me to the right terminal. When I got to the terminal I asked a few more people for help and at 9 am I made it to my gate 34E. At first there was no one at the desk so I looked for someone else (who was a worker) to assure me I was in the right place. He said yes and that he would come to get me soon so he could check one more time. I thanked him and sat down. At 9:20 I went up and I was told everything was set. A little while later I started bording my flight while waiting in the line I talked to an elderly couple from Idaho they were very kind people. Once I boarded I went to my seat at first I was sitting by the window by this kid who was probably 17. I then noticed that his dad was sitting across the isle so I offered to trade spots. He was very happy so I did. I sat in the middle section with 3 seats and I sat on the end. We then took off and my long adventous trip began. We had 2 babies on the flight and some kids, so at first it was a little crazy until they all calmed down and went to sleep. There was this really cute baby in the isle next to me she was so giggly. After about an hour we started watching movies. First I watched Kung fu Panda, I liked it. Then we watched Maid of Honnor. After some time it was time to eat we could either have chicken or pasta. I got pasta. In the middle of the meal I saw a comotion in the seat where I was sitting at first. I latter found out that the boy had a Cocroch in his pasta. HOW GROSS IS THAT! I then started thinking that if I wouldn't have traded spots I most likely would have got that one. Yikes! I started looking at my food wondering if I was going to finish it, I did because I was starving. When we were done I sat for a while and waited for the next movie. The next movie called Nims Island began. Durring the show they brought us Ice cream for a mid flight snack. That ment we were only half way! Well I finished my show and then tried to sleep it was just to hard so I pulled out my ipod and listened to it for a long time. I then started watching a tv show but decided not to watch it. So I got up and walked around for a minute. Then It was time to eat, we had a very yummy pizza. Right after I ate I started watching a movie on my ipod. It didn't seem much longer until suddenly the captin came on and said that our flight would be landing a little earlier. I put my buckle on and started getting very excited. I then talk to this guy who was sitting next to me he was born in Ukrain and then moved to Canada and was coming to go to school. He was a nice guy. When the flight landed I got off and I stood in this long line for customs. I started talking to this girl in front of me who was also commig home from Germany. We helped eachother find where we needed to go. I then walked down the hall to sliding doors. When they opened there was my brothers, valentine, Mom, Dad, Lisa, and Pauline and Andrew ( a missionary who served a mission in salt lake who came to vist) I was a big surprise to see him, and last but not least MY LITTLE SISTER. I gave them all huge hugs. We then went home and I gave my family all there stuff that I had got them. Then later on Pauline, Valentine and Max (and some other people) came over so that we could spend one last night with them. I was so tiered that I could barely stand, I was also feeling air sick. So i just kinda layed there. We then decided to watch a movie, as soon as it started I was dead asleep. The next thing I knew it was the end of the movie. I then said goodnight to everyone. I first went and looked at myself in the mirror and Oh My you all should have seen my eyes they were so read mainly because I had been up well over 24 hours. As soon as I layed my head down I was out.
I had the best time of my life in Germany! It was and experience that I will never forget! Now that im home Instead of being homesick, I will be homesick for Germany. Germany now has a special place in my heart and I hope to go back some day.
Also 2 days after I got home we left to lake powell. I had some AWESOME crashes and many very painful ones. It was very fun. I did find out that I got swimmers ear after we got back but thats ok I had tons of fun!
Well I am going to try to post whats happening in my life every once in a while so go ahead a look sometimes!
